Visitor Information Services deliver visitor information in the Hull and East Yorkshire area by co-ordinating a network of Tourist Information Centres (TICs) and Tourist Information Points (TIPs)
Last year over half a million people were served at the TICs. We offer our customers an accommodation booking service using inspected only accommodation to ensure consistent quality standards. To be part of the bed booking scheme accommodation establishments agree to the TICs retaining a percentage of the value of the booking as a prepayment. By working together with the local tourism industry to promote quality services, we aim to provide a customer focused service that increases visitor numbers and spend within the area.
